Downloaded SyFonOne/SynthFont to replace the dreaded Micrsoft GS Wavetable Synth along with MIDI-OX/Yoke and ASIO4All to get the virtual port and reduce latency and have been able to configure it to get very good response on a Dell M4400 (virtually no discernable delay). So I greatly appreciate your work.
The only problem I'm having is that SyFonOne doesn't seem to respond to the sustain pedal changes where SynthFont does. This happens both from playing midi files through each (directly in SythFont and through an external midi sequencer for SyFonOne) as well as with an external keyboard (playing through either a sequencer to Midi OX to SyFonOne or just from the external keyboard thru Midi OX to SyFonOne). I've confirmed that the messages (both pedal 'down' and pedal 'up') are being transmitted (both in the sequencer and using Midi OX Monitor).
I tried to test the fix for this in the new release but SyFonOne doesn't produce any output after upgrading it. No sound at all and has crashed a couple of times. SynthFont works so I assume it's a bug in SyFonOne. I've tried using it with and without ASIO, with and without preloading the sound font. No output. If I turn off ASIO, I can click the "Test" button to set the playback buffer size and I do hear the tone.
Also, when SyFonOne loads, it always says "Syfon - loading..." when you hover over it in the taskbar, even after it's loaded. It doesn't change until you click "Play" or "Stop".
Just downloaded version V1.011 of SyFonOne and still no sound output. The loading message is gone and it didn't crash when selecting sound files so that's good :-) is there any chance it's a conflict between VSTSynthFont and SyFonOne? SyFonOne was working fine before I installed the latest SynthFont and VSTSynthFont.
